Casa Sophia
The most sustainable house in Spain chose OLI to equip its bathroom spaces.
For this project, the OLI74 PLUS was the cistern selected for this project and is equipped a with double inlet valve for main water and recycled non-potable water, which allow, for instance, the use of rainwater from the building's roof to flush the cistern instead of drinking water.
To the water sustainability was added a design approach by bringing the TRUMPET flush plate to the project, designed by architect Álvaro Siza Vieira, the internationally awarded LESS IS MORE, by Italian architect Alessio Pinto as well as the flush plates GLOBE and OCEANIA.
Casa Sophia was designed and developed with the assumptions of bioconstruction, maximum energy and water efficiency and the preservation of the health of those who inhabit it, demonstrating that the systems and materials used allow more sustainable constructions in Europe.
